Will and Helen Bentley founded the shop in Castle Square in September 2005. We are family owned and independent, personally selecting and sourcing our wines worldwide from producers and specialist importers, many of whom we have visited.
An evening course in London many years ago introduced us to authentic, quality, hand-crafted wines. An amateur interest as collectors developed into a passion, which has now become a successful business.
We are usually open 10.00am - 5.00pm, Tuesday to Saturday; we are closed on Sundays, Mondays and most Bank Holidays. (In January we are only open on Fridays and Saturdays.) During the many Ludlow festivals and special markets through the year we often extend these hours. We also offer tutored and informal tastings throughout the year. We deliver free locally and can ship throughout the UK with next day delivery via DHL.
